WHAT IS A STUDENT VISA (F-1)
The F-1 visa is the most common student visa for international students in the United States.
It allows you to study at an accredited institution approved under the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP).
Before applying, you must receive admission from a SEVP-approved institution and obtain your Form I-20.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To apply for an F-1 visa, you must:
- Be accepted by a SEVP-approved institution
- Receive a valid Form I-20
- Show proof of sufficient financial resources

- Have a valid passport
- Intend to study full-time
